Speaker · Strategist · Straight Shooter

Meet Jen DeWare.

The speaker who has led the work, not just talked about it.

Jen DeWare is a speaker, strategist, facilitator, and consultant who helps leaders, teams, and organizations rethink busywork, build resilience, find waste, and improve how work gets done. With 20+ years on stage and inside complex rooms, she brings humour, honesty, and practical strategy to audiences and organizations ready for something useful.

Authority snapshot

Jen knows what it takes to make work actually work.

Before Jen was on stage, she was inside complex, high-stakes organizations helping people make real change happen. Her career has taken her through healthcare, public sector environments, knowledge-intensive teams, and operationally complex rooms where friction costs more than time.

That experience is what makes her different. Jen doesn't speak from theory. She speaks from the messy middle, the place where leaders are stretched, systems are tangled, people are tired, and everyone knows something needs to change but no one has quite named it yet.

Her story, short version

In the work · Day to day

Jen built her career in knowledge-intensive sectors where the work was complicated, the stakes were real, and the people were under pressure. She learned process mastery, Lean Six Sigma, facilitation, and change leadership the way they are supposed to be learned, by applying them in rooms where the ideas had to actually work.

As the former Regional Lead of Process Improvement for Horizon Health, Jen played a key role in formal management systems, process improvement initiatives, and organizational change work that helped teams see what was happening beneath the surface.

Somewhere along the way, she became the person people called when the work was tangled, the process was broken, or the team could feel the friction but couldn't quite name the problem.

She got good at making the invisible work visible, and even better at telling the truth about it.
"I have great respect for straight-forward dialogue, round-table decision-making, and honest opinions, and from Jen I received this, along with the documented ideas, pathways, challenges and considerations required to take formative action."

What makes Jen different

She still does the work she talks about.

Jen is not a speaker who left the work behind. She still consults, facilitates, maps processes, and helps organizations untangle the systems that keep people stuck. That means her talks aren't motivational theory. They are grounded in what actually happens inside teams, leadership rooms, and organizations trying to do better.

She understands the process underneath busywork, the pressure underneath resilience, and how easily waste hides in plain sight, because she is still in the room where those patterns get untangled.

Audiences leave with language, clarity, and next steps they can use on Monday.

Speaking + Consulting

On stage, Jen brings the energy. In the room, she brings the map.

On stage, Jen helps audiences rethink how they lead, recover, and move through pressure. In consulting, she takes that clarity deeper: mapping processes, facilitating hard conversations, and building practical strategy that sticks.

Both sides of the work come from the same belief. Most organizations don't need more noise. They need someone who can see the pattern, name the problem, and help people move from busy to better.
